You hid in the shadows

once the sun went down.

Hiding in the shadows

not making a sound.

But I knew you were there

you weren't fooling me.

You tried to take my life

but it was not destined to be.

You hid in the shadows

with a badge by your side

You hid like a coward

as all cowards hide.

But life is funny

and change always comes

One day you'll will be hiding

with no where to run

With this badge by you side

how long can you hide?
